Aarzoo is a private LGBTQ+ community and matchmaking platform built for people who are looking for more than just dating.
Aarzoo was built on a simple idea.
Queer people deserve spaces where they can connect safely, openly, and without judgement.
We bring together:
At the heart of Aarzoo is its community.
Connect with like-minded individuals in relaxed, thoughtfully curated spaces — no expectations, just genuine connection.
Open conversations, story-sharing circles, and creative sessions where every voice is welcomed and heard.
Safe, welcoming spaces where queer individuals can relax, connect, and simply be themselves.
More than a platform — Aarzoo is a growing ecosystem where relationships are nurtured and community is celebrated.
Our markets and pop-ups champion queer entrepreneurs, creators, and small business owners.
Every gathering, market, and session builds toward a more inclusive and affirming world for the queer community.
For those looking for long-term relationships.
Curated events like our flea markets, Coffee Club and themed meetups.
Affirming emotional and relationship support.
Helping you navigate partnerships and rights.
Workshops and sessions focused on building awareness, empathy, and inclusive environments in community spaces and corporate organisations.
Aarzoo was created to fill a gap that most platforms overlooked.
After working in traditional matchmaking, founder Kamakshi Madan recognised that the LGBTQ+ community had no access to safe, thoughtful, and private ways to build relationships. When same-sex relationships were decriminalised in India in 2018, it marked a turning point.
Aarzoo initially started off as a matchmaking service in 2020. The idea was to create a private, human-led process where LGBTQ+ individuals could explore relationships without being exposed or misunderstood.
Over time, we realised that our clients were not only looking for partners. They were looking for belonging. What started as matchmaking evolved into something larger.
This shift led to the creation of our community-led initiatives like the Aarzoo Coffee Club. And to provide further support, we put together a team of queer affirmative therapists and lawyers.
Expanding into the events space, we have curated flea markets and pop-up events that support queer entrepreneurs and small businesses.
Today, Aarzoo stands as more than a matchmaking service. It is a growing ecosystem where relationships are nurtured, conversations are encouraged and community is celebrated.
Founder, Aarzoo
Having worked in conventional matrimonial services, Kamakshi recognised the gap for safe, thoughtful matchmaking for the LGBTQ+ community — and built Aarzoo to fill it.
